New Hire Enrollment

Welcome to Organon! You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in Organon benefits.

Download the Benefits Directory to keep for future reference.

Enrollment for 2022 benefits is open from October 5 to 28.

Good news! Your benefit rates and carriers are not changing for 2022. If you want to keep what you currently have, you don’t need to do anything.

However, you will need to take action if you want to:

  • Waive your benefits coverage for 2022 or add/delete a dependent. Please note that dependent verification is required when adding dependents.
  • Contribute to a Health Care or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in 2022.
  • Elect Voluntary Life insurance or apply to increase your life insurance coverage.
  • Elect other voluntary coverages, like Group Legal.

You have three possible ways to enroll:

  1. Beginning Oct. 5, click the hot pink “Enroll in Benefits” button above to enroll.
  2. Go to the enrollment site and library at netbenefits.com.
  3. Download the NetBenefits® App at Fidelity.com/go/NetBenefitsapp

If you are newly hired on or after September 6, 2021, you will need to enroll for 2021 benefits and 2022 benefits. In essence, you have to complete two enrollments. Follow the instructions above to enroll.

Call the Organon Benefits Service Center for help at 800-767-3353. Customer Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday (excluding New York Stock Exchange holidays), 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET.

New hires must enroll in benefits coverage within 30 days of their date of hire. If you choose to enroll in Organon Benefits, coverage is effective as of your date of hire. You will receive an email from the Organon Benefit Service Center when you are able to enroll in coverage. Please note that if you do not wish to enroll in coverage, you must waive your coverage options, otherwise, you will be defaulted into coverage (see New Hire Default Coverage section below).

After making elections, it may take up to two weeks for coverage to be active with Organon’s benefit carriers. Where possible, founders should make every effort to schedule appointments accordingly. However, we understand that unexpected medical care may be required. In this case, founders should contact the Organon Benefits Center at Fidelity for assistance. Keep in mind that coverage will be active before you receive your ID cards in the mail. To access your ID cards sooner, please log in to the Horizon or ESI website, or download the respective app on your phone.

If you have never registered with Fidelity before, go to netbenefits.com, click “Register Now” and follow the prompts. If you have an existing Fidelity NetBenefits account, use the same username/password you used previously. You also can reset these from the login page, but the change will apply to all your Fidelity accounts.

If you are a new hire who does not enroll within your initial 30-day enrollment period, you will automatically receive the following default coverage, retroactive to your hire date:

  • Medical plan with employee-only coverage
  • Dental plan with employee-only coverage
  • Company-paid basic life insurance of 1x base pay
  • Company-paid long-term disability coverage of 60% base pay before-tax

You will not have an opportunity to make changes until the next annual enrollment, unless you have a qualified life event.

Benefits are available to full-time and part-time Organon team members. In addition to your enrollment, you also may enroll your:

  • Spouse/domestic partner
  • Children (including your partner’s children) up to age 26
  • Eligible disabled children of any age

Please review the eligibility criteria for covered dependents in the summary plan description posted on netbenefits.com

If you enroll a dependent in medical coverage, you may be subject to a dependent audit to request documentation to verify your dependent’s eligibility (e.g., birth certificate, marriage certificate, domestic partnership affidavit, etc.). If you do not provide the necessary documentation within the required timeframe, your dependents will be dropped from coverage and COBRA coverage will not be offered.

If you experience a qualified life event during the year (such as a marriage, divorce or birth of a child), you will have 30 days to make changes to your benefit elections that align with the life event.
